Soft washing uses low pressure (under 500 PSI) plus bio-friendly chemistry to kill mold, mildew, and algae at the root. Pressure washing uses high water pressure for hard surfaces like concrete and brick. The wrong tool on the wrong surface causes damage — composite decking and cedar shake roofs both need soft wash, never pressure.
Yes — when it's done with soft wash technique. Direct high pressure on vinyl can force water behind the panel and cause mold buildup inside the wall. We soft-wash all vinyl with pressure below 500 PSI and a fan-shaped nozzle.
No. Everything we need is outside the house. We confirm timing with you the day before the job.
Most NoVA homes look great with a wash every 1–2 years. North-facing siding (slower drying, more mold) may need yearly. Decks get cleaned every spring; stained every 2–3 years.

We won't power wash composite porch ceilings, freshly-painted surfaces (under 6 months), historic mortar, or anything you ask us not to. Before we start, we walk every surface with you and flag what we'll soft-wash, what we'll skip, and why.
Most residential jobs are 2–4 hours. A whole-house soft wash plus driveway pressure wash plus deck clean is a full day.
We don't issue paper warranties. We do call-back: if you see spots we missed within 7 days, George comes back. (Stained surfaces we couldn't fully remove get disclosed up front, not promised gone.)
